Charles River Laboratories is a leader in the global research community in advancing human health and is passionate about their role in improving the quality of people’s lives. They believe that every day people have the ability to make a difference and one of the many ways they do that is through their Annual 5K Fundraiser that began in 2012 and has raised nearly $100,000 to date. At their Global Sales Meeting held in a different city each year, employees donate their time and money to raise funds and Charles River Labs matches those funds dollar for dollar with all proceeds going to a local charity that focuses on children’s health. Their goal is to be able to give back to the host community and give back they did!
Rest Haven Children’s Health Fund was chosen to be the recipient of this year’s wonderful charity run held on January 14, 2020 at the Embarcadero and as a result, Charles River Labs and their employees donated a total of $8,010 to support Rest Haven’s mission!
