In 2020, Rest Haven provided $112,211 in emergency funding assistance to agencies serving underserved children who had been particularly hit hard by COVID 19. Rest Haven’s Board of Directors believes it is critical to respond to the community’s immediate needs during a time of crisis so that they can address the increased services needed for children and families who are facing such adverse conditions during this very difficult time. Rest Haven also received nearly 500 individual referrals last year requesting financial assistance on behalf of a child, a 64% increase from the year before.
